Over 400 micro CHP units built by our german partner KW-Energietechnik are running since more than 10 years in germany and Austria. Here are some of the applications we have recently launched in Belgium.
Capforme is a physiotherapy center with a swimming pool for aquaerobics and reducation. An ecoGEN-12AH micro-CHP unit ( 12kW el , 26 kW Th. ) is running on rapeseed oil since March 2006. The CHP unit runs 6000 hours/year allowing the center to self-consume about half of its electricity production and to sell the rest to the grid. This small units allows the owners to cut down their energy bill by 30% !
The
Best Western Business Hotel of Charleroi.
Equipped since june 2006 with a 12 kW vegetable oil micro-CHP unit for
the production of warm water, the hotel managers are able to reduce significatively
their energy costs.

Atomium (Brussels)
The
famous and unique monument is now fitted with a natural gas micro-CHP
unit from Cogengreen.
Brussels
south Charleroi Airport (BSCA)
Cogengreen won the contract and delivered the 70 kW natural gas CHP unit
being installed within Belgium's second international airport terminal.

Sauvenière (Woluwé-St-Lambert)
Together with 300 m2 of thermal solar
panels, 2 ecoGEN-25AH micro
CHP units running on rapeseed oil produce warm water for a 350 appartement
complex in Brussels.

33 (Uccle)
The world's deepest swimming pool (33m)
well known among scuba divers is fitted with an ecoGEN-48SG
running on natural gas.
Les
Jardins d'alexandre (Forest)
Old industrial buildings renewed into
a complex of 17 loftss are heated by an ecoGEN-25SH
micro-CHP unit running on vegetable oil.
